A Road Trip Through Romans

1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.  ― Romans 12:1-2 (New International Version)

John Calvin (1509-1564) French theologian, pastor and reformer in Geneva during the Protestant Reformation famously said of the Book of Romans, “When anyone understands this Epistle, he has a passage opened to him to the understanding of the whole Scripture.”

It is with this idea on which we will be taking a road trip through the book of Romans through the months of June and July.  At some verses we will stop and look around.  At others we will only wave as we go by.  But hopefully by getting an overview of the book of Romans, you will gain a better understanding of the whole Bible.  I hope you will be at FBC Endicott each Sunday to participate in our road trip.  God bless you richly.  See you in Church.
