We believe…
-
We believe the Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired Word of God without error in their original writings. The Bible completely reveals God’s will for mankind’s salvation. God’s Word is the divine and ultimate authority for all aspects of Christian life and faith.
-
We believe in one God, the Creator of everything, who is infinitely holy, powerful, and sovereign, and exists eternally and equally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
-
We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. We believe He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the Cross to be a sacrifice for our sins. He rose bodily from the grave and ascended into heaven, where He now sits at the right hand of God as our High Priest and Advocate.
-
We believe the Holy Spirit makes mankind aware of our sinfulness and our need for the salvation found in Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is the promised, daily presence of God in every believer. He gives believers the strength and discernment for godly living and gifts for ministry in the church. He gives us the wisdom to understand Biblical truth. The Holy Spirit regenerates the repentant sinner.
-
We believe in baptism by immersion and observing the Lord’s Supper as a symbolic, yet encouraging, ordinance for the present day church.
-
We believe the true Church comprises every person who, through their saving faith in Jesus Christ, has been regenerated by the Holy Spirit. Therefore, we are united together in the body of Jesus Christ, of which He is the Head. The purposes of the Church are proclaiming the Gospel and making disciples of all nations.
-
We believe Jesus Christ will return in the last days to judge the living and the dead. We believe God will bodily resurrect the dead, welcoming the believer to everlasting life and joy with Himself, but consigning the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting conscious punishment.

I enjoy apologetics, missions, and Old Testament history. I especially like the writings of Tim Keller, C.S. Lewis, and Tolkien. My favorite, however, is chatting about the Bible over a smooth cup of coffee.
My wife and I have been in ministry for twenty-five plus years and it's the most joyful, fulfilling thing we can do.
